Ki Hwan Ahn is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice area is general litigation including civil and criminal defense.
After the first appointment as a judge in March 1986, Mr. Ahn served various positions including a judge at the Busan District Court, Uijeongbu District Court, Seoul Northern District Court, Seoul Central District Court and Seoul High Court, judicial researcher at the Supreme Court (administrative law group), presiding judge of the Seoul Central District Court and chief judge of the Ansan Branch of the Suwon District Court.
His broad experience also covers general commercial and civil cases (real estate, corporate litigations, and medical litigations, etc.), administrative cases (compensation for land expropriation, litigation to seek nullification or revocation of administrative dispositions, etc.), and criminal cases, as he handled such matters as an administrative case researcher at the Supreme Court, and a presiding judge specializing in criminal cases at the Uijeongbu District Court and the Seoul Northern District Court, and in mediation cases at the Seoul Central District Court.
