Yong Taek Lee is a chief expert advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice area is criminal defense.
Prior to joining Yoon & Yang, Mr. Lee was at the Gwangjin Police Station where he was dispatched to the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors’ Office for three years. Mr. Lee then transitioned to the Violent Crime Section and Traffic Division of the Gangdong Police Station, and thereafter served as the team leader of the Violent Crime Section of the Suseo Police Station, the Criminal Division of the Mapo Police Station, the Investigation Division of the Seocho Police Station, and the Intellectual Crime Investigation Squad of the Seoul Metropolitan Police. Mr. Lee also has experience at the Special Criminal Investigation Division of the Investigation Bureau of the National Police Agency and served as the Chief of the Women & Juvenile Affairs Division of the Bucheon Sosa Police Station. Prior to joining Yoon & Yang, Mr. Lee was the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Seongnam Jungwon Police Station and retired honorably from public service as a Senior Superintendent after 34 years of service.
