Jaeyeon Lee is a chief expert adviser Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas is finance.
Based on 22 years of service at the Financial Supervisory Service, where he was engaged in the supervision of financial investment companies and nonbank financial companies, corporate disclosure, and investigation of unfair trade practices in the capital markets, Mr. Lee provides comprehensive advice related to the financial markets.
Mr. Lee was in charge of licensing asset management companies and savings banks at the Financial Supervisory Service’s Asset Management Supervision Department, licensing savings banks and enacting and amending relevant regulations at the Nonbank Supervision Department, and developing investigative techniques for fraudulent unfair trade practices related to commercial paper issuance by large enterprises and market disturbance practices by foreign investors at the Capital Market Supervision Department and Special Investigation Department. In particular, Mr. Lee possesses a deep understanding and expertise in all aspects of the capital markets through his participation in Special Department I at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, the BBK Special Prosecutor, and the Samsung Group Slush Funds Special Investigation Task Force.
