Chan Yong Jung is an expert advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice area is criminal defense.
After his first appointment as a public prosecutor in 2002, Mr. Jung worked at the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office, the High-Tech Crime Investigation Department and the Criminal Department 7 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, and the Central Investigation Department and the Investigation Support Division of the Anti-Corruption Department at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office. Mr. Jung handled inspection information and various investigations at the Inspection Division 1 and the Inspection Information Team under the Special Inspection Division of the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office, and was in charge of anti-corruption investigations at the Special Department of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office and the Anti-Corruption Department 2 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. After working at the Office of Secretary to the President for Public Office Discipline under the Office of Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs of the Korean Presidential Office, he retired as an investigative information officer at the Investigation Information Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office.
