Jiwook Kim is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, foreign investment, and overseas investment.
In particular, Mr. Kim is specialized in advising on various types of M&As and corporate restructuring, as well as international transactions including both inbound and outbound investments.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Kim worked as an in-house counsel of NHN Co., Ltd. and based on such experience, he provides optimal legal services on IT and privacy issues. He was also a Personal Data Law Advisor of the Korea Communications Commission in 2015. He has recently been providing consultations on legal issues regarding initial coin offering (ICO) and cryptocurrencies.
