Ms. Lee is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and her main practice areas are finance and financial regulation.
Ms. Lee worked at various departments of the Financial Supervisory Service, such as the Financial Group Supervision Office, General Banks Investigation Department, Foreign Exchange Supervision Department, Digital Innovation Department, and Electronic Financial Supervision Department, where she gained extensive expertise in supervision of licensing and corporate governance matters in the fields of digital finance, including e-finance and fintech, as well as banking, financial holding companies, and foreign exchange transactions.

In the banking and financial holding sectors, Ms. Lee primarily worked on licensing matters such as approval of establishment of financial holding companies, approval of subsidiary mergers, and approval of excess shareholding limits, in addition to supervision of corporate governance within financial groups. In the foreign exchange sector, Ms. Lee systematically operated the regulations on overseas expansion of financial companies and the Foreign Exchange Transaction Act while supervising matters on sanctions and regulation of violations. In the field of e-finance and fintech, she took part in the enactment, amendment, and institutional improvement of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act and has carried out licensing, prudential supervision, and business conduct supervision for e-finance companies.
